As of recently, running has been becoming wildly popular. Over the course of the past few years, the pandemic has been causing people to get outside and to pick up a new hobby. All across social media, people have been training for 5k's and are sharing their tricks and tips for getting into running. There is a recent trend called couch to 5k which gets people who have no experience running and slowly gets them into running a 5k. I personally have been intrigued by this trend and I look forward to starting a new hobby.
Although a really great hobby, running also has some amazing benefits. There are many reports of running improving peoples psyche and their mental balance. This is very important in today's society because social media can take a huge toll on the mental health of its users. Running can also improve the physical health like decreasing risk of disease, increasing stamina, and weight loss.
Overall, I believe the trend of running to be really good for our society. Finding a common interest between people is always a great way to feel more connected to the world and is a great way for people to spread positivity. The increased improvement of mental and physical affects of running are extremely important and should be a goal for everyone.
Hello, this is an amazing post! I really loved reading the different benefits of running, and understanding why it is so important! I typically take runs around the river-walk for sunsets as this seems to be the most ideal spot for running! Great post, and I look forward to more of your blogs
This is very interesting! I haven't run in awhile but I used to have to run a 5k in highschool when I had tryouts for lacrosse. It was definitely better to do with others to keep you motivated.
Hi, I think this is a really interesting running trend. I am not a runner who runs everyday, but this seems like something I would want try. It would be cool to see myself running a 5K even though I may not be as experienced.
This is really interesting! I had never heard of the couch to 5k trend but it sounds cool. I am not a runner, but maybe I should look into this trend.
